Edna Dapo is an international artist who resides in Scottsdale, AZ.

She is also a teacher and a curator.

Dapo holds an MFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design, BFA in Painting from ASU, and a diploma from Art School Luka Sorkocevic in Dubrovnik, Croatia.


Edna Dapo has been painting for almost twenty years and has won numerous awards. Her work has been selected for NEW AMERICAN PAINTINGS, Volume 70, and is on the cover of American Art Collector (CA, V4 B2).


Dapo has been teaching art classes since 2005. She has taught all ages and abilities at a college level, middle school, elementary school, afterschool programs, and at a non-profit art organization – Phoenix Center for the Arts. Currently, she is a Department Head of Painting & Drawing at the Phoenix Center for the Arts, where she has been a Resident Artist for the past 5 years. Dapo also teaches at Mesa Community College (Drawing and Life Drawing).


In addition to her academic work, Dapo has engaged in numerous curatorial projects. She curated, juried and organized multiple shows for adults and children/teens. She organizes and juries shows at The Nash, and is a co-manager at the Gallery at the PCA:
