In addition to her academic work, Dapo has engaged in various curatorial projects.  She curated, juried and organized multiple art shows and continues to be actively engaged in presenting new exhibitions in downtown Phoenix every First Friday Art Walk.

Dapo is a juror/curator at The Nash and also co-manages Phoenix Center for the Arts gallery giving professional and emerging artists an opportunity to share their art with public.

Dapo believes that artists need to share their visual thoughts and ideas to grow, develop and communicate.

‘”… we must carry arts to the people, not wait for the people to come to the arts.” ~ Arthur Mitchell, choreographer and founder, The Dance Theater of Harlem.
