I have lived in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina through turbulent ex-Yugoslavian war, and left Dubrovnik, Croatia in 1997. After spending six months in Norrkoping, Sweden, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1998 where I currently reside.

My art education was long and thorough. Luka Sorkocevic Art Gymnasium in Dubrovnik, Croatia sharpened my drawing skills and ability to see, while through undergraduate studies at Arizona State University (BFA in Painting, summa cum laude) and graduate studies at Savannah College of Art and Design (MFA in Painting) I found my voice as an artist.

I have been exhibiting nationally and internationally, and have won numerous awards. My work has been selected for NEW AMERICAN PAINTINGS, Volume 70. Look it up in June 2007 at US bookstores.

Currently I teach art classes at Phoenix Center for the Arts.
